While a majority of these packages are free to try out, there are jailbreak apps that cost money for your iPhone. But actually paying for mods can be a bit tricky.As the successor to Cydia, it's likely that Sileo will also feature payment support for you to buy tweaks within the app. Unfortunately, Sileo is still in its beta stages, so it's far from a final product. When a Houston mom got tired of her kids seemingly refusing to return her calls, she decided that she'd take action. Sharon Standifird's vision was to create an app that would somehow force children to get into contact with their parents. Having no experience with app development, Standifird quickly taught herself the ropes and hired an experienced developer to help with coding.The end result of her efforts is Ignore No More, an Android app that can remotely lock a child's device until they call and ask for an unlock code. While the phone is locked, the child can still call 911 and phone a few select contacts, but they won't be able to do anything else without getting into contact with the parent first. Step 1: Install Ignore No More on Both PhonesIgnore No More is available for free on the Google Play Store, and you'll have to install it on both your device and your child's phone. Search for it by name to get it installed, or head to this link to jump straight to the install page.UPDATE: Sadly, Ignore No More is no longer free. It now costs $0.99 per phone, so you'll at least be spending $1.98, depending on how many children you have, and how many adults who want lockout control.

Step 2: Set Up Ignore No More (Parent's Phone)The first part of setup will be done through your own device. Open the app, then you'll be asked to create an account. Tap Create Parent Account, then fill out the form on the following page. When you're finished, tick the box next to I Agree and press Sign Up. From here, the app informs you that it can be installed on your spouse's device to create a second parent account using the same login credentials that you just created. Tap the screen, then the app will explain that it must be installed on the child's device, then the same credentials can be used to specify a child account. The next two screens explain the steps you'll have to take on your child's device to ensure that they'll be able to contact you. I'll cover this portion in-depth below. Once you've reached the Done! screen, you can move on to setting up the child's device.

Step 3: Set Up Ignore No More (Child's Phone)Next, open the app on your child's device, and log in with the same account that you just created on your own phone. On the next screen, register the device as a Child. After that, enter your child's name when prompted, then press Submit. A new window will pop up at this point asking you to activate Ignore No More as a device administrator on this device. This is how the app locks your child's device, so tap Activate here.

Step 4: Create an Emergency Contact Group (Child's Phone)As outlined by the app's setup guide, you'll have to create a contact group on your child's device and name it INM.Start by opening the People app on your kid's phone. From here, tap the third tab at the top of the screen, then hit the Add Group button at the bottom of the following page. On the next screen, type INM in the first field in all caps. Then, use the second field to type in any names or numbers of people that you'd like your child to be able to contact when you've locked them out remotely.Keep in mind that 911 does not have to be added here, as it will be available regardless. When you're finished, tap Done.

Step 5: Add Emergency Contact to Lock Screen (Child's Phone)The emergency contact group that you just created can only be accessed by your child from a widget on his or her lock screen. But, as of version 4.4 KitKat, Android no longer allows widgets on the lock screen by default.So, if you child's device was purchased within the last year, there's a good chance that you'll have to add an extra step here. Head to the phone's Settings, then scroll through the list and tap Security. From this screen, simply tick the box next to Enable Widgets. If your child's phone does not have this option, then you can skip this step. Next, head to the device's lock screen. Once here, swipe in from the left edge of the screen to expose the widget menu. Tap the Plus button that appears, then scroll through the list and select Ignore No More. With this widget added, your child can now access your INM contact group from their locked device.

Step 6: Lock Your Child's Device RemotelyBack on your own phone now, tap the Refresh button at the top of the screen to load the new accounts you've created. You'll see your child's device, so go ahead and tap it to test out the functionality. From here, enter a 4-digit PIN that will be used to unlock your child's device, then press Lock Phone. Within a few seconds, the screen on your child's phone will turn off, and the device will be locked. While locked out, the child cannot access their phone's main interface. Instead, they'll be greeted with a secured lock screen, where they can press Emergency Call to dial 911. If they swipe in from the left edge of the screen, they'll be able to access your emergency contact group, where they'll be able to call you and ask for the PIN. If the child attempts to uninstall or deactivate Ignore No More, their phone will immediately be locked, and you will receive an email informing you of their attempt to circumvent INM.I know the concept behind this app can be a bit polarizing, with your stance generally depending on what generation you belong to. News: 10 Cool New Features in Android 8.1 for the OnePlus 5 & 5T
OnePlus has now officially upgraded both the 5 and 5T to Android 8.1 Oreo. As implied by the version number, this isn't a huge update from Android 8.0 Oreo. However, OnePlus has included a few of their own features as well.Android 8.1 Oreo acts more as a revision to Android Oreo than a new update. It corrects issues specific to Pixel devices and adds features that just missed the cut for 8.0. While there are some under-the-hood changes, the visual changes of Android 8.1 are minimal for OnePlus 5 and 5T in part because of Oxygen OS, which implemented other 8.1 features such as the automatic dark theme back with 8.0. Nonetheless, there are still some interesting OnePlus-specific changes.

1. Bluetooth Battery IndicatorFinally, OnePlus users can see the battery life of Bluetooth devices paired with the 5 and 5T. As long as the device support Hands-Free or GATT profiles (typically devices that use Bluetooth 4.0 LE and higher), you will now be able to see the battery life in both the Quick Settings and under the Bluetooth menu in Settings.

2. Picture-in-Picture with NetflixAlthough Google added picture-in-picture mode with Android 8.0 Oreo, Netflix only includes the features for devices running Android 8.1. To use it, open Netflix and start a video. Select the home button to continue the video in a small pop-up which you can move around your screen.
3. Cleaner Toast MessagesToast messages (the small pop-up messages that appear along the bottom of your screen) are now receiving an upgraded look. Instead of rounded gray backgrounds, these messages will now have semi-transparent white backgrounds with black text. It is a small change, but an appreciated one.

4. Answer Your Phone Without Touching the ScreenWhile this feature isn't a part of the official update from Google, OnePlus has included this with their latest beta release. With Open Beta 6 (or 4 for the 5T), you now have a new method of answering calls that doesn't require you to touch the screen.While in Settings, select the "Gestures" option and choose "Answer calls by gesture." Once enabled, when you receive a call, you can answer it by simply raising the phone to your ear.

5. New Clocks for Ambient DisplayThanks to their AMOLED displays, OnePlus 5 and 5T models include an Ambient Display feature which turns on a few pixels to display a small amount of information. With the latest beta release, you now have more choices when it comes to how the clock is displayed, including using an analog clock.

6. Better Settings Descriptions for Gestures (OnePlus 5T)This feature was first introduced with Open Beta 3, but OnePlus cleaned up the option in Settings with the new 8.1 release. The navigation gesture options are now properly described so you know what you need to do to enable the gestures. There are even GIFs that show each gesture!
7. Improved Fingerprint SecurityIf there are multiple unsuccessful attempts to unlock your phone via the fingerprint scanner, the fingerprint scanner will now be disabled and the user will be forced to input the PIN, pattern, or passcode instead. This might be annoying sometimes, but it definitely helps with deterring thieves.Additionally, if you're ever in a situation where someone is trying to force you to unlock your phone with your fingerprint (e.g., law enforcement), you could purposefully use the wrong finger to lock your phone and require a PIN. Additionally, if an authorized user keeps activating this feature, it can be an indication that their stored fingerprint needs to be recaptured.
8. Safe Browsing for Third-Party AppsThird-party apps can now access the Safe Browsing API. Safe Browsing is a Google service which protects against malicious and fraudulent websites and links. Google's Safe Browsing contains a frequently updated list of unsafe web pages and resources.Apps can now use this service to check the security of a link, warn users about potentially dangerous web resources, and stop them from accessing them. With this technology, even if an app becomes corrupt, any redirected web links should be caught before doing damage to your device.
9. Neural Networks APIAs more devices take advantage of machine learning, many are including a neural processing unit to perform machine learning computation more effectively. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (found in the OnePlus 5 and 5T) has it own unit, known as the Hexagon DSP.With Android 8.1 Oreo, apps running on the OnePlus 5 (and 5T) can improve their machine learning computation by taking advantage of hardware acceleration and inference on the Hexagon DSP. This will allow all machine learning computation to perform faster, improving the overall performance of the app.
10. No More Annoying NotificationsWith notification channels (introduced in Android 8.0 Oreo), multiple channels can ping your device at the same time from the same app, meaning you could receive multiple alerts per second. Android 8.1 Oreo changes this by limiting notification alert sounds to once per second. So while you'll still receive all your notifications, you won't receive multiple sounds, which are redundant (and annoying).Aside from these features, Android 8.1 brings small changes such as an updated security patch level (April 2018) and data migration support for OnePlus Switch. The new iOS 8 was just unveiled, and it looks pretty awesome. Apple showed off some of the enhancements and new features we can expect to receive in the fall at WWDC, and while not the huge facelift we saw with iOS 7, it does showcase what Apple does best—refinement.

ContinuityOne of the bigger features that Apple is pushing at WWDC is Continuity, which allows Apple devices (computers, smartphones, and tablets) to work together in order to access your data (calls, messages, photos, etc.) on all of your devices at once. Using the Photo application, Apple showed one of the more ingenious cross-device functionalities—as edits a photo are being made on one device, those changes are instantly transferred through iCloud on other devices.

WidgetsWidgets are finally available on iOS, although they're not accessible on your home screen. What?!? Instead, you can download third-party applications, and if they have widget capability, you'll be able to add them on to your Notification Center. With these widgets, you'll not only have relevant information to look at, but you'll also be able to interact with it. In the demo at WWDC, Apple showed how you can place a bid on eBay with a single tap through the Notification Center.

MessagesThe Messages application has been heavily improved and packed with new features that make text messaging a better experience on iOS 8.
